How to Prevent Battery from Draining on Samsung Gear Smart Watches

With technology advancing at a rapid pace, there are many devices to keep track of. Today, with the Samsung Gear Smart Watch, you can wear your phone on your wrist, but with the battery draining quickly, it can be difficult to keep it charged. Luckily, there are many ways to prevent the battery from draining.

A Samsung Gear Smart Watch is a device that is worn on the wrist to access the internet, make phone calls, and much more. It has a lot of features that make it a great device. One of these features is the ability to track your fitness progress. If you wear your Samsung Gear Smart Watch to bed, it will track your sleep. The Gear Smart Watch is also a great tool to track your heart rate. Samsung Gear Smart Watches are known to have battery life  that can last up to two days, so it can track your heart rate for that long. It will also track other aspects of your health such as steps and calories. The device has an exercise mode that allows it to track your heart rate. The device can track your heart rate and GPS location, and it will send them to Samsung’s S Health service. This service is a great tool that helps your overall health.  It can track your BMI, weight, and more.

What Causes the Fast Battery Drain on the Gear Smart Watches?

Many people have been wondering what is causing the fast battery drain on their Samsung Gear smart watches, and the answer is actually quite simple. The watch is constantly searching for a new Wi-Fi signal and when it can’t find one, it will keep searching and draining the battery. This is because the watch  needs Wi-Fi to send data to your phone. That’s why you can’t even use your Samsung Gear smart watch when your phone is off or in another room.

Disabling Weather Application

One of the best ways to save battery on your phone is to disable your weather application. This will stop the app from constantly updating in the background, thus saving you battery.  You can do this on a Lumia for example, by opening the settings menu, selecting applications and choosing the weather application. Then you can disable background updates for the weather app. On the iPhone, open the settings menu, then select the mail, contacts, calendar. Then select the option to turn off background refresh. This will allow you to stop the Mail app from checking your email in the background.

Disabling Connection Alerts

It’s a good idea to disable connection alerts for your apps and services to save battery life. For example, you can disable notifications for Facebook, Twitter, and other social media apps. You can also disable notifications for email apps and other apps that send notifications. If you’re worried about missing  an important call, use a smartphone that features a dedicated Ringer App. This app can keep you from missing important calls. You can set it to be heard at a lower volume or to only ring when your phone is on silent. If your phone doesn’t have a Ringer App, you can look into third party apps that do the same thing.

Disabling S Health App

The S Health app is a great way to monitor your health and fitness but it can also be a drain on your battery life. If you are experiencing battery problems, you may want to disable the S Health app. To do this, go to Settings > General Management > Battery > and tap on the S Health icon to turn it off.

Checking for Updates

It’s a good idea to keep your phone up to date, but it’s important to make sure you’re not downloading updates that will slow down your phone or drain your battery.  Updates are often released to fix bugs or security issues. However, some updates are released for the sole purpose  of enabling the phone to access faster network connections (especially on Google Plus devices). Older phones will not benefit from these features.
